Grok Video – Generate in Seconds

Free AI video from a sentence or a still

Make a free AI video from a sentence or a still, without building a timeline first. This studio sends your prompt, frame, and length to the model on the provider account you connect. The first clip is a free preview: you can watch it in the panel, including a vertical 9:16 frame that stays fully visible. Saving, downloading, or exporting that file needs a paid plan or credits. Most clips finish in a few minutes, and ten starter credits sit in this browser when you want another pass. Choose widescreen, square, or portrait before you generate, and play the free preview before you pay to keep it.

Tools for a free AI video

Write a prompt, animate a still, and shape a free AI video for a feed, a square post, or a widescreen cut.

Short videos, without the wait

Most clips finish in a few minutes. Describe the shot, start the render, and this page keeps checking until the provider is done.

Text to video in plain language

Write the picture the way you would brief a camera operator. Your prompt, the model, the length, and the frame go out together.

Every frame a feed needs

16:9 for a widescreen cut, 1:1 for a square post, 9:16 for a vertical story. The shape is a setting on the same bench.

A still can start the motion

Upload a JPEG, PNG, or WebP and add a motion note if you want one. The still is the opening frame.

A free AI video you can preview

Ask for 480p, 720p, or 1080p. The first clip plays here as a free preview. Saving, downloading, or exporting needs a paid plan or credits.

Ten free credits, then clear prices

Start with 10 free credits in this browser. No card required. The first clip is a free preview. Paid credits arrive only after Cash checkout confirms, and saving or exporting needs that payment. One requested second costs one credit after the preview.

Create a free AI video in 3 steps

Describe the shot, choose the size, then watch the free preview. Saving or exporting needs a paid plan or credits.

01

Describe your video

Type the scene, or drop in a still. Everyday language is enough to start.

02

Choose the size

Pick 16:9, 1:1, or 9:16, then the length and the model. A vertical cut is not a second project.

03

Preview, then save

The page watches the render. When it is ready, play the free preview here. Saving or exporting needs a paid plan or credits.

Questions

What does this studio send?

A generation is a POST to the video generations endpoint on your provider, then a GET to poll that request id. The body carries the model, prompt, duration, aspect ratio, resolution, and an image when you attached one.

Which models are listed?

Only grok-imagine-video, grok-imagine-video-1.5, grok-imagine-video-1.5-preview, and grok-video-1.5. Ids with a grok/, x-ai/, or xai/ prefix are treated as the same model, not as extra entries.

Are the credits a bill?

The ten starter credits are a free trial in this browser. Cash is a Stripe charge for the listed dollar price, and those credits are added here only after Stripe marks the checkout paid. PayPal is not connected, so that choice continues with the same Stripe checkout. One requested second costs one credit. The video provider can still bill the API account that renders the clip.

How long does a render take?

Often a few minutes. The page keeps polling. Length, resolution, and provider load change the wait. There is no fixed clock on this desk.

Where is the API key stored?

If you save momoai_api_key from the dashboard, it is sealed with AES-GCM when CONFIG_ENCRYPTION_KEY is set. If that setting is empty, the server uses MOMOAI_API_KEY. The key is never written into an error.

Can I use the clips commercially?

That depends on the terms of the provider account that rendered them. This studio does not grant rights it does not hold.

Does upscale or watermark removal call the video API?

No. Those pages work on a still in your browser. They do not pretend the video provider restored detail or inpainted a frame.

What does the free AI video preview include?

You can watch the first video in this browser. Playback stays in the results panel, with the full frame visible. Saving, downloading, or exporting needs a paid plan or credits from checkout.

See what you can create

Open a scene in the generator and make your own cut. Portrait, square, and widescreen samples keep their frame.

Notes from the cutting room

Sample desk notes for the layout. They are not customer reviews.

Night editor

I write the shot the way I would say it in the bay. The bench either holds or it does not.

Shop photographer

A product still with a short motion note is enough to see if the object has a life on camera.

Feed producer

Nine by sixteen lives next to widescreen, so a vertical cut is a setting, not a second project.
